Women in Cinematography (WiC) is a Community Interest Company (CIC) committed to empowering, supporting and advocating for women in all areas of the camera department and associated industry. We are a super collective of female-oriented cinematography coalitions, based worldwide. Our mission is to increase visibility, create opportunities and drive systemic change by fostering a more inclusive and equitable industry.
Through community-building, we strive to break down barriers and ensure women cinematographers are recognised, valued and given the space to thrive. By working collectively, we aim to increase our representation, champion diversity and inspire the next generation of women behind the camera.

Building a supportive and inclusive network that encourages collaboration, exchange of knowledge, and mutual support among women and allies in cinematography.
Advocacy
Highlighting systemic barriers and working to create opportunities that ensure equal representation and inclusivity within the industry.
Education
WiC unites experienced cinematographers and industry professionals to promote how productions can create opportunities for underrepresented people and foster safe working environments.
